A visit to New Orleans is not complete without spending some time in the French Quarter and around the Jackson Square area. Horse drawn carriages and artists abound there. For a photographer, it isn’t what scenes you capture, it is which ones you pass by. You could spend a week or more there and not duplicate a single scene. You could come back the next day and the scenes and the artists will have changed.
Here is a collection of street, sidewalk and fence artists I captured recently. Although it was a very cloudy most of the day, the colors of the art came through quite well. It was a fun afternoon.
