What a beautiful bouquet of wild flowers! This was discovered under an old bridge in Central Alabama.
Here is the story behind this bouquet: one of the few things on 0ur bucket list was to walk across the Edmund Pettus Bridge at Selma, AL and take photographs of the bridge. It was the scene of the Bloody Sunday on March 7, 1965.
After arriving in there and finding a parking close close to the bridge, we started walking across it. Once on the other side I wanted to go under the bridge to see if there were any good viewpoints there. But under the bridge, I spotted these wild flowers and picked a small bouquet. My wife was waiting a distance way from me and I thought I would surprise her with these flowers. Now that I think about it, I am not sure if it was legal to pick them or not. But I did surprise her with the bouquet.
